about us
First Children is the outreach arm of the Auburn House Trust, which has over 30 years’ experience in Early Childhood Development using the Montessori approach.
The Trust was formed as part of the flagship Montessori school Auburn House. Established in 1984, Auburn House was one of the first culturally diverse schools in South Africa.
Our belief is that nurturing the creativity and independence of the child is at the heart of quality education, and with the right support teachers can create a safe and stimulating environment that instils a life-long love of learning.
